ARIEL MINISTRIES

It was in Jerusalem, in 1966, that a burning seed of desire was planted in the heart of Arnold Fruchtenbaum. On December 1, 1977, in San Antonio, Texas, Ariel Ministries was born and the seed began to bloom. Ariel was founded to evangelize and disciple our Jewish brethren. Ariel means "Lion of God," representing the Messiah Yeshua as the Lions of Judah. It is also an alternate name for Jerusalem (Isaiah 29:1) —  the city of peace now waiting for the Prince of Peace to return.

He was a Fellow and Tutor in English Literature at Oxford University until 1954, when he was unanimously elected to the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University, a position he held until his retirement.

DR. MICHAEL RYDELNIK

Dr. Michael Rydelnik is Professor of Jewish Studies at Moody Bible Institute and the Host/Bible teacher on Open Line with Dr. Michael Rydelnik, answering listener Bible questions every Saturday morning for more than 200 stations across America. The son of Holocaust survivors, he was raised in an observant Jewish home in Brooklyn, New York. Michael trusted in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah in high school and began teaching the Bible almost immediately. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute, Azusa Pacific University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where his doctoral research focused on the messianic hope of the Hebrew Bible.

Chosen People Answers

Brian Crawford serves as the lead apologist and site architect for Chosen People Answers. He joined Chosen People Ministries in 2010 and moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2011 to begin seminary and ministry in a predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhood. Since 2013, his ministry has focused on Messianic apologetics online. It has been his dream to revitalize the written form of apologetics on the internet, while reaching Jewish people with the Gospel at the same time. After growing up in a Gentile evangelical family in sunny San Diego, Brian has made Brooklyn home with his wife, Liz, and their two children.
